Chair of Honor

The Chair of Honor

The unoccupied POW/MIA chair is displayed to honor the 83,114 service members who remain unaccounted for since World War I.

The chair symbolizes that our nation continues to actively seek, locate and identify Prisoners of War or those who are Missing in Action and let them know there will always be a place for them when they return home.

The Chair has a permanent home at the Ludlow Veterans Center.
